Oral Pathology

Benign and malignant tumors occur in the oral cavity (mouth) and the surrounding stuctures. Dr. Ashman is trained and experienced in the identification and treatment of these diseases. Such tumors may present as lumps, bumps, sores, ulcers, white spots, dark spots and a combination of appearances. He may utilize a variety of examinations and tests, including biopsy, to diagnose these entities. Based on the results of a complete history and physical examination, special radiographic studies, laboratory studies, and biopsy reports, Dr. Ashman will recommend a treatment approach individualize for the patient.
